Green Xchange is an intiative by Avelife-Sembcorp to inculcate recycling habits into the heartland of Singapore. The project will involve encouraging heartland residents to exchange recyclable items (bottles, plastics & paper) for vouchers exchangeable for staple foods such as rice,vegetables, cooking oil or sugar.
The Avelife Sustainable Art & Design Competition is an annual competition open to secondary school and tertiary students between 13-25 years old. Its main objective is to engage students in Singapore and spur them to create green innovations that are futuristic & asian-inspired.
The Centre of Recycled Environmental Art and Training for the Elderly (CREATE) is a retired elderly-run green social enterprise & school that trains the community on locally made recycled artistic products & crafts.
Project Fun Bin Singapore is a joint initiative amongst supporting partners such as the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources (MEWR), National Environment Agency (NEA), Tanjong Pagar Town Council (TPTC) and Avelife.
It is designed to promise a fun and engaging experience to all primary schools, secondary schools, tertiary institutions, as well as members of the public in creating a FUN BIN that we all love in order to take on the problem of littering and invoke a greater sense of appreciation for a clean and green environment.
CarbonSink Asia hopes to raise public awareness about the impact of the destruction of rainforests in South East Asia and encourages participants to adopt trees.
